Since VPW courses are completed in a semester, VPW will adhere to the following semester regulations:
Fall and Spring Term Withdrawal Policies
Students who drop a VPW course before the end of the first four weeks of the course shall not have the attempt recorded on their transcript.
Students who drop a VPW course after the first four weeks but before the end of the first semester shall receive no credit, and a notation shall be made on the student's transcript indicating withdraw failing or withdraw passing.
Students who drop a VPW course after the first semester of the course shall receive no credit and a failing grade for the course.
The principal (or designee) may, in extenuating circumstances relating to a student's health or well-being, make an exception to this regulation.
Summer Withdrawal Policies
Students who withdraw before the start of the Summer term or on the first day of the term will receive a full refund and no penalty for taking the course. There will be NO refunds after the first day of the summer term.
Students who withdraw during the first week of the summer term will not be penalized on their transcript for taking the course.
Students who withdraw during weeks 2 and 3 will receive a WF or WP on their transcripts and will not receive credit for the course.
Students who withdraw during weeks 4-6 will receive an automatic F and will not receive credit for the course.
